So the youth in my parish are planning to attend a youth conference this summer, in July to be more specific, and we are all very excited to go and see what God has prepared for us. Our plan is to attend Steubenville 2015 "Limitless" where about 21 of us will join our big brother St. Joseph's Catholic Parish in Conway, Arkansas.

You would think me, being a college student, as well as other young adult volunteers that take part of the leadership of the youth at our church, would be ready to relax and enjoy our summer vacation. Not. This only means we are more available for the hard work that is going to take place to fund this out of state trip. Did I mention this is will be in Missouri? Yes, it will. Each one of us has to raise $200.00 in order to make it there. This might seem like a lot of money since it will only be a weekend but, it is totally worth it! It might be my first time but it seems like a pretty good price since it is out of state and the transportation is included, the meals are all payed for and we will have the opportunity to meet thousands of young Catholics from around the nation and here amazing talks from inspiring speakers. We will also have praise and worship with popular Catholic Christian music and singers, and we will end it all with Adoration to the Blessed Sacrament. How cool is that!? All I ask with this post is your prayers because tonight we will go around town selling Mexican- Style corn "elotes" to help at least fund to kids with tonight's selling! In advance, thank you so much and God bless! Nos vemos ;)
